JOB DESCRIPTION

The Billing Specialist will become an expert in the customers they handle billing daily, which includes verifying paperwork, matching information on various TMS and ensuring the freight bill is delivered the proper way according to the customer’s needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3 to 5 Years of Billing Experience (Logistics experience a plus!)
• High School Diploma (required)
• Reliable transportation to office
• Microsoft Office proficient
• Ability to work 8am- 5pm EST
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Strong communications skills
• Detail oriented
• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  Job Type: Full-time
  Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
  Expected hours: 40 per week

• Electronically organize paperwork
• Identify different types of documentation and their priority
• Assist with billing requirements
• Match invoices with management systems
• Help create a fun and respectful environment
• Handle incoming payments, record them accurately, and apply them to the correct customer account
• Contact customers regarding outstanding invoices, payment reminders, and resolve any billing inquiries
• Mark loads ready to bill as appropriate paperwork is received
• Any other duties as needed
