St. Barnabas Health System is looking for an experienced Skilled Nursing Billing Specialist: Salary Range: $22.00- $24.00/hour Job Type: Full Time Shift: Monday to Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM This is an in-office role located in the Valencia area. No hybrid or work from home options. What You Will Do: Insurance billing for Medicare Part A & Part B (Skilled Nursing) Insurance follow-up for Medicare Part A & Part B claims Insurance verification for Skilled Nursing and Home Health services Medicaid billing and follow-up (knowledge helpful) Home Health or Hospice billing knowledge a plus Experience with RUG and PDPM methodologies (required) Knowledge of Consolidated Billing (preferred) Daily census reconciliation and reporting Aging report preparation and management Enter and maintain all diagnosis codes for skilled residents Enter facility charges for month-end closing Post private pay cash receipts Process private pay refunds Post all insurance remittances Complete and process OME (Other Medical Expenses) forms Complete Representative Payee forms and manage Resident Trust Accounts Process ambulance and miscellaneous invoices Update yearly Medicare Part B fee schedule Update yearly Highmark Part B fee schedule What You Will Bring: Experienced with Skilled Nursing Billing (must have to be considered) Why Choose Us?
