Description Tri-Century Eye Care is seeking a full-time Billing Specialist to join our fast-paced ophthalmology practice in Southampton, PA. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, patient-focused, and comfortable working in a dynamic clinical environment. If you excel at navigating insurance processes, supporting patients with clarity and professionalism, and keeping financial operations running smoothly, you’ll make a meaningful impact here. What You’ll Do Manage billing and claims processing, including submitting, tracking, and following up on insurance claims to ensure timely reimbursement Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits prior to scheduled services Process patient payments, generate invoices, and resolve billing-related inquiries Reconcile accounts by identifying discrepancies and taking appropriate corrective action Serve as a liaison between patients, insurance carriers, and clinical staff to address billing concerns Provide clear, supportive customer service by assisting patients with questions about statements and charges Requirements Perks & Benefits Starting at $19/hour, based on experience Medical, dental, and vision insurance (group plan + complementary vision plan) 401k with contribution and profit-sharing plan after 12 months Paid Time Off Paid Holidays Uniform reimbursement Employer paid group life Voluntary Life, AD&D, and disability coverage Spending accounts (FSA) Coverage begins 1st of the month after hire (some benefits after 90 days) Requirements What We’re Looking For 2+ years of experience in medical billing, healthcare administration, or customer service. Knowledge of insurance verification, medical billing codes, and HIPAA compliance. Strong organizational and communication skills. Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-location healthcare setting. High school diploma or equivalent. Coursework or a certification in medical billing, healthcare administration, or a related field preferred
