POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Billing Supervisor to join our Finance team in Canby, OR. In this key leadership role, you will oversee the full billing cycle, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. You’ll lead the development of our billing team as we consolidate the process across our rapidly growing company. In addition, this position will collaborate with departments across the organization and continuously work to improve processes that support our customers.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of billing or accounts receivable experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
  • Strong understanding of project-based billing, job costing, retention, and milestone-based invoicing.
  • Experience with multi-state billing, sales tax compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (Epicor Kenetics ERP experience is a plus).
  • Strong analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with internal controls and audit preparation.
  • Proven ability to implement process improvements (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar experience a plus).
  • Prior experience in construction, manufacturing, or an industrial environment is highly desirable.
  • Experience managing or coordinating billing teams across multiple locations is a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Perform the day-to-day operations of the billing department, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing.
  • Review and approve invoices and billing reports before submission to clients.
  • Interpret and apply contract terms, payment schedules, and retention requirements.
  • Resolve billing discrepancies and disputes by working closely with internal teams and customers.
