Description:
We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Billing Supervisor for our nonprofit healthcare client. The AR supervisor will manage our accounts receivables division, ensure timely processing of payments, oversee daily transactions, and improve financial operations.
Responsibilities:
Overseeing and streamlining billing and collections processes.
Month-end closing of the billing group information.
Plan and implement quality assurance for all processes.
Staff management - training staff on new processes and policies.
Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables data.
Implement strategies to address delays in the payment process.
Monitor the AR aging report and reduce delinquent balances.
Liaising with auditors and managing financial audits.
Coordinate with the executive team on strategic financial planning.
Ensuring all transactions are compliant with financial regulations and standards
5+ years of experience in account receivables, billing, collections ideally within a nonprofit healthcare setting.
2 years of AR supervisory/management experience.
Federally qualified health center accounting experience preferred.
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations.
Knowledge of Epic software preferred
Proficient at interpreting and analyzing complex financial data.
Exceptional client service along with the ability to develop excellent client relationships.
Hands-on detail-oriented tasks.
