Job Description Responsibilities: Installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, performance monitoring, tuning and troubleshooting of Comarch BSS, including the following modules: Product Catalog, Billing, Billing Mediation; Keeping an eye on system jobs, understanding error logs, investigating any data issues, and resolve runtime problems; Interfaces monitoring; Manage backups and restores, disaster recovery, high availability of systems. Develop a deep understanding of the billing platform and look for ways to improve its use in daily operations. Help set up data connections and integrations to ensure smooth data flow from start to finish, and take technical ownership of the system after go-live. Participate in discussions around expanding the technical team for further implementation in European markets, helping to define roles and responsibilities as needed. Manage and satisfy audit controls. Security experience is required. Effectively interface and collaborate with other tech teams, including infrastructure and security teams. Participate in on-call rotation. Stay abreast of BSS roadmaps, development to help improve current platform. Leading Proof of Concept and guiding team on billing system technology possibilities Create and maintain team documentation leading to best practices, standardization and service desk support. Qualifications 3+ years of experience with Comarch BSS. Hands-on experience with Product Catalog, Billing, and Billing Mediation modules. Working knowledge of Product Catalog architecture and related entities (specification, offering, usage, etc.). Fluent in Polish and English (spoken and written). Proficient in SQL for data validation, record tracking, and issue resolution. Understanding of data flow and experience with integration tools (e.g., Apache Camel). Proven experience integrating enterprise systems (CRM, ERP, data warehouses, event streaming platforms). Experience with complex backend systems (e.g., ERP or financial platforms). Knowledge of billing processes (invoicing, rating, usage-based billing) is a plus. Familiarity with server-side scripting, batch processing, and document generation. Comfortable analyzing logs, system settings, delays, and performance issues. Ability to interpret technical documentation and challenge assumptions when needed. Understanding of data privacy standards (e.g., GDPR). Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to explain technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences. Skilled in managing multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously. Strong analytical and technical communication abilities. Detail-oriented and able to follow written and verbal instructions. Effective in organizing and scheduling work. Able to work under time pressure and adapt to changing priorities. Capable of working independently. Willing to work flexible hours.
