Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented BIM Coordinator to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. As a BIM Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes for our projects, ensuring efficient collaboration between various disciplines and maintaining high-quality standards. Develop and maintain 3D BIM models for architectural, structural, and MEP systems Coordinate with project teams to resolve design conflicts and clashes using BIM software Lead BIM coordination meetings and facilitate communication between different stakeholders Prepare and update BIM execution plans and protocols for projects Ensure compliance with BIM standards, company procedures, and client requirements Supervise and mentor junior BIM modelers and drafters Generate 2D drawings and documentation from BIM models Collaborate with project managers to meet project deadlines and deliverables Perform quality checks on BIM models and associated documentation Stay updated on the latest BIM technologies and best practices Support the implementation of BIM processes across the organization Qualifications Diploma in Engineering or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred Minimum of 5 years of experience in BIM coordination, preferably in the construction industry Proficiency in BIM software, particularly Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD Strong understanding of construction processes, standards, and best practices Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Strong communication and interpersonal skills Experience in leading coordination meetings and resolving conflicts Knowledge of MEP systems and architectural design principles Familiarity with clash detection and coordination software Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Strong organizational and time management skills Willingness to adapt to new technologies and industry trends Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus Additional Information About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
