POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled BIM Coordinator to manage and oversee Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes across multidisciplinary projects, with a focus on MEP, architectural, and structural coordination. This role acts as a bridge between design, drafting, and site execution teams, ensuring that models are accurate, consistent, and fully coordinated throughout all phases of design and construction.
The BIM Coordinator will support clash detection, model updates, and data integrity within the BIM environment, while guiding teams in the use of industry-standard tools and best practices. The role requires a strong understanding of construction workflows, MEP systems, and model-based coordination.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 4–6 years of experience in BIM coordination within MEP, architecture, or construction environments.
• Strong proficiency in Revit, Navisworks Manage, and cloud-based BIM platforms such as BIM 360, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or similar.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, clash detection principles, and model federation practices.
• Familiarity with MEP systems, construction sequencing, and coordination workflows.
• Experience preparing or interpreting shop drawings, LOD standards (Level of Development), and BIM Execution Plans (BEP).
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate across multi-disciplinary teams, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders simultaneously.

• Coordinate and manage 3D models for all disciplines (MEP, structural, architectural) to ensure clash-free, constructible designs.
• Facilitate model-based coordination meetings and issue tracking sessions with consultants, engineers, and contractors.
• Conduct clash detection using Navisworks (or similar platforms) and manage resolution workflows through cloud collaboration platforms (e.g., BIM 360, ACC).
• Assist in setting up and managing project BIM standards, Revit templates, model naming conventions, and file structures.
• Support drafting and engineering teams by integrating design inputs into federated models and ensuring model health and accuracy.
• Collaborate with site and project managers to ensure model-based data is aligned with site conditions and construction sequencing.
• Manage model version control and oversee timely updates and communication of changes across project stakeholders.
• Provide BIM-related technical support and training to internal staff when needed.
