JOB DESCRIPTION – BIM COORDINATOR Location: Abernathy, Texas (On‑Site, 4–6 Month Project Assignment) Division: Conti Corporation – Commercial & Technology Group Project: Abernathy Data Center Position Summary Conti Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and detail‑oriented BIM Coordinator to support our Abernathy Data Center project. This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in electrical and/or mechanical BIM detailing, advanced Revit capability, and the ability to work effectively in fast‑paced, technology‑driven construction environments. The BIM Coordinator will be responsible for developing, managing, and coordinating 3D models, laying out critical field points, and supporting the construction team with accurate and timely BIM deliverables. This role requires full on‑site presence in Abernathy, TX for the duration of the project (4–6 months). Key Responsibilities Modeling & Coordination * Develop and manage electrical and mechanical BIM models using Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD. * Utilize Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and Navisworks for clash detection and multi‑trade coordination. * Create and maintain Revit content, templates, model families, and prefabrication drawings. * Convert models into CAD for site usage and coordinate deliverables across platforms. * Use Trimble or similar layout tools to generate accurate field points for installation. * Interpret 2D and 3D drawings to support layout, QA/QC, and installation planning. Field & Project Support * Support field teams by producing high‑quality shop drawings, submittal sets, and as‑built documentation. * Work with project managers, engineers, and field supervisors to identify and resolve clashes or design discrepancies. * Attend and contribute to coordination meetings with internal teams and subcontractors. * Maintain BIM standards, templates, and file organization across project folders. Required Skills & Qualifications * 3+ years of experience in electrical or mechanical BIM detailing. * Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM authoring tools. * Experience with ACC (Autodesk Construction Cloud), Navisworks, and Recap. * Ability to create Revit families, templates, and prefabrication deliverables. * Understanding of layout workflows and ability to place points using Trimble or comparable systems. * Ability to work on‑site full time (Abernathy, TX) for 4–6 months. * Strong knowledge of 2D and 3D construction drawings. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Preferred / Bonus Qualifications * Electrical and/or mechanical field construction exposure. * OSHA‑10 (preferred; can be provided post‑hire). * Experience supporting data center, high‑tech, or mission‑critical projects. Work Environment * Full on‑site presence required (Abernathy, TX). * 40+ hours per week; may require additional hours to support project deadlines. * Collaborative team environment with direct access to project leadership. * Periodic coordination with Conti’s Michigan/HQ BIM team.
