COMPANY OVERVIEW:

Our client is seeking a BIM Coordinator for a number of multi-disciplined projects in the Dublin Region. This fulltime role may be site based or at our offices in South Dublin. This role will provide the successful candidate with an excellent opportunity to develop and progress professionally.

JOB SUMMARY:

• Ensure delivery of the information requirements of the EIR & enforce the BIM Execution Plan
• Receive & maintain information pertaining to the Project Information Model
• Review information exchanges within the common data environment
• On-going collaboration with multi-discipline BIM Coordinators
• Execute spatial coordination processes
• Track and report on the coordination process
• Verify site installations using reality capture tools and software e.g. – laser scanning
• Manage the collation and input of asset information to the Asset Information Model for handover
• Support the Design Manager on design/project delivery
• Assist in the coordination of the design team and specialist subcontractors
• Attend/Host BIM coordination meetings and workshops
• Confirm suppliers’ ability to deliver project BIM requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Third Level Qualification in BIM or in Engineering or Architecture with additional BIM qualification/training
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar BIM role
• Solid understanding of BIM tools and digital design coordination
• Solid understanding of document management systems and CDEs e.g. Aconex, BIM360, and/or others
• Strong attention to detail & solution driven
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Self-motivating to deliver on safety, quality & programme
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Full driving license
