Description

As a BIM Coordinator in our Penticton or Kelowna, BC, or Whitehorse, YT locations, you’ll put your mechanical know-how and your experience with Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks to work preparing BIM models to support our projects through the pre-construction, construction and close out phases of projects. Our project teams rely on you to manage BIM project set up, keep updated project data sets, and manage the flow of information.
No two days and no two projects are the same. You could be working on lighting or cable tray layouts and then switching gears to a large mechanical room layout. Whatever the task, you’ll make sure all key players get properly formatted files with the most up-to-date and accurate information.
A little about Wildstone. We’re family-owned and operated, we take on projects in some of the most remote, challenging and exciting locations in western and northern Canada, and our goal is to always make a positive impact through community involvement where we work.
We take care of our teams with benefits that include health/dental/vision, RRSP matching, Employee and Family Assistance Programs, an Employee Recognition and Rewards Program, an Annual Bonus and Unlimited Paid Time off after 3 years.
The starting salary range for this role is $60,000 – $90,000. Pay range variables include level of industry experience, mechanical and electrical knowledge, and proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks and Procore.

Here’s what success in the role looks like :

  • You follow a defined process, and you make sure everyone is working according to the BIM execution plan and guidelines.
  • You complete thorough quality checks for drawings and model revisions.
  • You take ownership of the modelling tasks that need to be completed, have a plan in place for when to share data, and document everything throughout the process.
  • You are able to spot potential issues and lead clash detection meetings to find solutions with our project team, clients and partners to keep the process on track.
  • You pride yourself on accurate and timely communication with all stakeholders knowing it’s key to a successful outcome.
