THE OPPORTUNITY

  • Preparing and developing architectural and engineering drawings, models, sketches, and other documents within a Building Information Modelling (BIM) focused environment
  • Help handle in-coming and out-going model and drawing information
  • Co-ordinating work with other teams
  • Address problems that arise in a constantly evolving project environment
  • Working directly with engineering colleagues and other specialists
  • Ensure accurate Quality Assurance/Quality Control protocols are implemented
  • Develop software skills vital to be successful in their project assignments
  • Project and team administrative duties

QUALIFICATIONS - REQUIRED

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelors, Diploma, or Certificate program in BIM management, civil engineering technology, architectural technology, or equivalent in the built environment
  • Students with a Portfolio will be prioritized
  • Experience in AutoCAD, Microstation, and/or Revit
  • Knowledge of Civil 3D, Bentley InRoads/OpenRoads
  • Knowledge of coordination tools: Navisworks, Revisto
  • Knowledge of collaboration tools: ACC, SharePoint, ProjectWise
  • Candidate must be eligible to work in Canada without the need for employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future
