Description

CAD Drafting (Civil 3D): Read and build Civil 3d surfaces. Import and export GIS shapefiles in Civil 3D. Preparation of detailed subsurface drainage layouts and longitudinal profiles using Autodesk Civil 3D. Assign elevations from Civil 3d to manholes and create profiles. BIM Modelling and Coordination: Development of comprehensive 3D models for storm/ subsurface gravity-based networks. Clash detection and resolution using Navisworks, ensuring coordination with other utility systems and disciplines (e.g., roads, structures, dry utilities). Modelling the network shapefile in BIM Familiar with Autodesk Construction Cloud ACC. Support in preparing coordinated BIM deliverables and clash-free design packages.

Responsibilities

The BIM Engineer will be responsible for CAD drafting and BIM modelling, focusing on storm and subsurface gravity-based networks. They will also perform clash detection and ensure coordination with other utility systems and disciplines.
