Job Description Role Overview Support delivery of BIM and CAD outputs for tunnel projects (TBM, Cut & Cover, NATM) by developing coordinated models and drawings, maintaining model quality, and supporting interdisciplinary coordination under the direction of BIM Lead and Tunnel Design Leads. Key Responsibilities Develop and update Revit BIM models for tunnel works (TBM lining/segments, C&C tunnel box, NATM primary/secondary lining) and associated components (cross passages, shafts, portals, niches, plant rooms where applicable). Produce and maintain 2D drawings from models: GA plans/sections, typical details, reinforcement/embedded items coordination drawings (as applicable), and interface drawings. Perform model coordination with civils/structures, MEP, architectural, and alignment teams; support clash detection and resolution in coordination meetings. Ensure model/drawing quality: adherence to BIM standards, naming conventions, worksets, view templates, sheet setup, and consistent annotations. Support extraction of quantities/schedules where required (basic take-offs from model) and maintain revision control. Manage model exchanges and submissions via ACC/CDE, including packaging, model publishing, and responding to review comments. Qualifications Diploma/Bachelor’s in Civil/Structural/Mechanical/Architectural Engineering or equivalent. 6–8 years’ experience in BIM/CAD for infrastructure, with strong exposure to tunnels/underground works (TBM, C&C, NATM preferred). Good understanding of tunnel deliverables and coordination needs (alignments, profiles, sections, interfaces, tolerances, constructability). Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and deliver under schedule with good attention to detail. Additional Information Software Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, ACC/ProjectWise.
