Job Description We are currently recruiting for a BIM Manager to join us at our Panama City office.
The selected candidate will lead the implementation and management of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes for complex projects and programs in Panama.
The role involves overseeing the coordination and integration of BIM across all project phases, ensuring that the project’s digital models meet all technical and client requirements.
Your day-to-day will include but not be limited to the following tasks and responsibilities: BIM Strategy Development: Develop and implement BIM standards, protocols, and workflows aligned with project goals and industry best practices.
Coordination and Collaboration: Facilitate cross-discipline coordination, ensuring that all stakeholders (designers, contractors, and consultants) are working within a cohesive BIM framework.
Model Management: Oversee the creation, maintenance, and quality control of digital models, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance with program specifications.
Clash Detection and Resolution: Lead the clash detection process and coordinate with relevant teams to resolve any conflicts identified within the models.
Training and Support: Provide training, guidance, and support to project teams on BIM tools and processes to ensure efficient use and implementation.
Data Management: Manage the integration of BIM data with other project management tools, ensuring seamless data flow and accurate reporting.
Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all BIM-related documentation and deliverables meet legal, contractual, and regulatory requirements.
Reporting: Regularly report on BIM progress, challenges, and updates to senior management and key stakeholders.
Qualifications Minimum Requirements Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Design Technology or Construction Technology, or related discipline project execution experience or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training, and related experience, + 8 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, 2+ years of experience as a BIM Manager Fluent Spanish and Advanced English.
Experience as a BIM Manager for at least two mixed-use building projects or programs with over 30,000m2 of total built area.
Experience managing and delivering project information on multidisciplinary buildings projects with geographically dispersed teams.
Experience delivering BIM data from Buildings design and BIM software including Revit and Civil3D.
Experience working and administering a Common Data Environment such as Autodesk Construction Cloud and/or Bentley ProjectWise.
Experience executing multi-discipline coordination, clash detection and issue management and an advanced user of any of the following: Autodesk Navisworks, REVIT, ACC Model Coordination.
Strong background in technical production of 3D and 2D model deliverables for Buildings projects.
Visual programming – preferred, working knowledge of Dynamo, Bentley Generative Components and/or Grasshopper Demonstratable a portfolio of BIM for Buildings projects Additional Information Preferred Qualifications Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Design Technology or Construction Technology, or related discipline project execution experience or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training, and related experience, 10+ years of industry experience in the BIM and Digital Delivery field.
Must have previous formal multidiscipline BIM Manager experience Master in BIM Management or CM-BIM Comprehensive knowledge of ISO 19650 framework and related BIM standards This job application is for future opportunities without immediate urgency.
