Job Description Overview The BIM Manager will provide technical expertise, leadership and management to the construction team during the pre-construction planning, development and delivery phases of the project, ultimately ensuring full execution of BIM across the project in accordance with Employers Requirements. Your role Assume the role of the Contractors Representative for Building Information Modelling (BIM). Supporting development and execution of the BIM Project Management Plan in accordance with the Employers BIM strategy and standards. Ensuring provision of quality model data including Industry Foundations Classes (IFC) and COBie data. Ensuring use of the company BIM Storage Solution throughout all project stages. Responsible for conducting QA/QC of BIM and outputs using specialist tools and internal processes. Responsible for the use of BIM to support on-site construction and planning activities. Maintaining a close working relationship with project wide BIM representatives, design managers and the Employers Team. Responsible for coordinating and attending project team BIM meetings. Monitoring BIM implementation progress and provide updates to the company on a weekly basis. Provide leadership, guidance and advice to the project team with the view to improving efficiency and effectiveness in BIM implementation. Promote a foster a strong team culture with open and transparent communication. Establishing and maintaining regular close contact with the Employer to address any Employer concerns. Provide reports (internal and external) in accordance with Contract requirements. About you Bachelor’s Degree Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Project Management or relevant industry experience. Member of Professional Engineering or Project / Construction Management Society or other recognized Body is desirable. Fluent in spoken and written English (Mandatory).
