Who The Client Is: The company was established in 1997 and has grown to be a multifaceted contractor in the commercial building sector across multiple disciplines of Electrical, Communications and Electronic Security. They work on major, high-profile projects across Commercial, Multilevel Residential and Data Centers. Role Overview: You will play a key role in developing high-quality electrical BIM models for projects reporting to our Construction Manager across medium-to-large-scale projects in Victoria Australia Key Responsibilities: Develop accurate Electrical BIM models (Lighting, Power, Cable Tray, ELV, Data, Comms, Lightning Protection, Earthing, and fabrication/installation drawings) as per LOD and BEP requirements. Produce coordinated 2D/3D drawings, schematics, and schedules with consistent naming and parameters. Update models and drawings based on engineer markups, RFIs, and client feedback. Coordinate with MEP, Structural, and Architectural teams to detect and resolve clashes using Navisworks, BIM 360, ACC, or Revizto. Create, modify, and maintain Electrical Revit families with correct parameters and classification. Follow BEP and QA/QC standards for modeling, documentation, and file structure. Collaborate with BIM Coordinators, Engineers, and Site teams, attending coordination meetings. Manage model versions, publishing, and file naming within the CDE (ACC / BIM 360). Perform model audits to eliminate warnings, optimize performance, and maintain correct coordinates. Required Skills and Qualifications: 3 + years of BIM Electrical modelling experience Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks and Revizto Experience with LOD 500; familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) is highly regarded Strong coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field beneficial but not required Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver quality work and achieve deadlines Work Arrangement & Expectations: This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.
