Joseph J. Albanese, Inc. is seeking a full-time BIM Modeler to join our Virtual Construction team. This individual will report directly to our BIM Manager. The ideal candidate will have either a structural or architectural background with BIM experience. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Analyze construction drawings and build 3D model of concrete scope of project
• Identify design and constructability issues, and communicate with project team through the RFI process
• Collaborate with GC and other trades in the BIM coordination process
• Prepare shop drawings for submittal and coordination with field crews
• Prepare digital files for TotalStation layout in field
• Extract model quantities and prepare pour sequence drawings

Qualifications

• 1 - 2 years Revit experience, Revit Professional Certification a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction or equivalent
• Strong computer skills in Revit and Microsoft Office, plus the ability to learn Autodesk Build, Bluebeam, and Navisworks
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong work ethic, team player, and attention to detail
