Job Description AECOM South Africa is looking for CAD detailers and BIM Modellers for the delivery of diverse local and international bridge projects. Key responsibilities would be the preparation and management of bridge drawings using CAD and 3D modelling software. Job Summary: Preparation and management drawings for bridges, culverts and other road related structures Preparation and management of reinforcement detailing and bending schedules 3D Revit modelling of bridges and culverts based on road and rail alignment models Building Information Modelling (BIM) Applying the AECOM Quality Management System (QMS) in all work Knowledge of SANS, TMH7 and other relevant standards will be a benefit Minimum Requirements : Minimum of five years’ experience in the drawing and modelling of bridges, culverts and other road related structures Proficiency in AutoCad, MicroStation, Revit, or Civil 3D Proficiency in rebar detailing software (CADS RC or similar) will be a benefit Good knowledge of the SANRAL and Western Cape Provincial Governments drawing procedures will be a benefit Experience working for Transport Authority clients in the USA, Canada and Australia will be considered favourable Experience of SOFiSTiK Bridge Modeler or Bentley Open Bridge will be a benefit Experienced using common data environments Autodesk Construction Cloud (BIM360) and Bentley ProjectWise Experience of modelling reinforcement in 3D will be a benefit Experience working for Transport Authority clients in the USA, Canada and Australia will be considered favourable Personal Attributes Ability to plan and execute work independently Commitment to meet deadlines Dedicated to deliver correct and accurate work Good communication skills.
