We are currently recruiting for a Seismic Restraint, Civil and Structural BIM Modeller to be based in our Myanmar office of a growing non-structural seismic engineering consulting business around the world in collaboration with other Beca offices. Our Beca Seismic Restraint Team We are seeking a qualified Structural Drafter (Civil & Structural) who is interested in learning and developing their BIM modelling skills; particularly in seismic design for non-structural elements such as: building services, ceilings, partitions etc. The Beca Seismic Restraint team is an emerging but leading provider of non-structural seismic engineering consulting services. We deliver a variety of small to very large projects across various market sectors including healthcare, education, commercial, industrial and government. BIM Modeller (Seismic Restraint, Civil & Structure) About You We’re looking for someone who loves to learn and share knowledge – someone who can bring a fresh perspective to ensure the development of the people around them and who constantly seeks better practice for the overall quality of our work and our client experience. Your passion, design and problem-solving mindset will be matched with a desire to work on meaningful and significant projects with the team. Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible to: · Set up, prepare and produce structural BIM Models using Autodesk Revit Structure including secondary structures. · Produce seismic restraint, civil & structural engineering detailed drawings that comply with company and industry standards, within a specified timeframe as directed and ensure accuracy of documents/Shop drawings based on BIM Modelling. · Generate BIM models, shop drawings, updating and revising BIM Models throughout the project life cycle. · Facilitate clash resolution process in terms of modelling and adjustment under Engineers’ guidance · Highlight and resolve technical problems and details independently and seek advice when required. · Work with team members and managers to meet the project deliverable and timeline. · Participate in knowledge and information sharing with other team members. Pre-Requisites · Specialist Diploma in BIM /relevant engineering bachelor/diploma · 2-3 years of relevant work experience in BIM modelling · Competent user of BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Naviswork, Revizto etc · Strong understanding of civil & structural engineering principles and best practices. · Good written & spoken communication skills in English · Able to work independently & exercise initiative · Excellent delegation and communication skills, which see you enlist the help of others to meet objectives · A team player.
