We have a great opportunity for a talented junior to mid-level BIM Designer to join our New York office, working alongside our team of ICT, Medical Equipment Planners, and Acoustical engineers to collaboratively provide client-focused design and consultancy services.
This role is essential for enhancing our Building Information Modeling processes and ensuring seamless project execution through the effective use of Revit software. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in architecture, engineering, or construction, along with expertise in BIM practices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with project managers, design teams, and project teams to execute BIM across various offices and disciplines.
  • Produce Revit and AutoCAD to produce design documentation and work in cooperation with the design team.
  • Assist in refining and standardizing project documentation, including the firm’s standards, templates, and libraries.
  • Work closely with Discipline Leads to develop construction document sets and provide firm-wide technical support for evaluating, developing, and improving BIM processes, best practices, policies, protocols, and workflows.
  • Act as a mentor, inspiration, and motivator to members of the product development team to follow BIM/CAD best practices and to contribute to innovative ideas and growth plans for the department.
  • You will be required to maintain the integrity of Revit models, work as a document controller, QA/QC drawings for standards and graphics, and coordinate Revit work between multiple offices.

Experience/Knowledge:

  • 4-Year Architectural Degree, Technical Degree, or Equivalent Experience
  • 1-4 years of experience in architectural design development, construction documentation, and detailing on a wide variety of project types
  • Fully proficient in Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360/ACC, Teams/Document, Management/Design Collaboration, and AutoCAD
  • Possess strong organizational, collaborative, and communication skills
  • Specialized knowledge of 3D modeling and rendering software tools with Revit
  • Specialized knowledge of 3D modeling and rendering software tools Rhino, SketchUp, Endscape preferred, not required
  • Fully proficient with Architectural drawing sets
  • Ability to ensure the accuracy of the designed product or concept for the organization
  • Ability to handle multiple deadlines and accommodate shifting priorities.
  • Full Proficiency in Microsoft Office365 Suite

ANNUAL SALARY RANGE:

$60,000 – $80,000:
