Job Description
AECOM’s Architectural Business unit Buildings + Places Canada (B+P Canada) is actively seeking a BIM Technician for immediate employment. The role can be based out of any of our offices across Canada with hybrid work options.
B+P Canada is a vibrant and growing fully integrated team spanning architecture, all the building’s engineering disciplines, landscape architecture, urban planning, urban design, economics and asset management for design and infrastructure projects. Project assignments may include, although not limited to: Transit and Municipal, Commercial, and Institutional projects, Justice, Education and Government.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Works under direct supervision performing moderately complex technical work utilizing instructions, drawings, sketches and results from computer systems and schematics.
  • May be involved in training and supervising technical personnel.
  • May perform some data entry.

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma + 2 years of relevant experience
    Demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education may be considered.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in Electrical BIM.
