Position Summary: The BIM Technician will work within the BIM department and will report to the BIM Manager. They will work closely with the BIM Coordinators and various project level management team members. This role will provide day-to-day construction models and related content for use by the project BIM Coordinators(s) and other stakeholders. This position will be a combination of on project site and in-office. Salary Range: $83,200-$119,600 Essential Responsibilities: * Receive, process, and archive model files from designers, project team members, and trade subcontractors. * Compile and publish federated models using Navisworks Manage. * Maintain and manage model building automation tools. * Facilitate the exchange and coordination of the 3D model with consultants, contractors, and fabricators. * Participate in technological collaboration between project team members, clients, design team members, builders, consultants, subcontractors, and others. * Maintain model libraries throughout the project and create archive record models at completion. Qualifications: Professional Experience and Education * Two to four (2-4) years’ experience in architectural, engineering or construction (AEC) industry. * Specific experience in industrial and/or hi-tech semiconductor manufacturing projects is preferred. * High School diploma or GED required. * Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or related industry preferred. Position Related Skills * Proficient in Windows, Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams) and have a general understanding of working with a computer network. * Proficient in batch file scripting, Python, Dynamo, and BIM Flow(iConstruct). * Proficient in project management software (Prolog, Procore, E-Builder), and Bluebeam. * Intermediate knowledge of Autodesk's Navisworks Manage, including Clash Detection, Quantification, and Timeliner tools. * Experience with Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) methods and digital fabrication preferred. * Experience administering and organizing Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), BIM 360 and other file sharing platforms. * Experience in organizing technical data in a neat and accurate method. Familiar with CSI specification system for construction. * Experience with Building Information Model (BIM), AutoCAD, and Navisworks preferred. * Training in design document reading, design specifications, survey theory and techniques. * Highly developed visual observation and interpretation skills. * Ability to communicate and present design and/or construction ideas to a variety of audiences. * Ability to work well and maintain a cooperative attitude through high-pressure situations. * Excellent time-management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work while frequently interrupted by phone calls and questions on work in progress. * Excellent written and oral communication skills with an ability to develop strong interpersonal relationships. * Ability to work closely with a variety of trade and craft people in a field work situation. Patience and professionalism are essential. * Must be a strong team player with the ability to collaborate with various personnel within and across departments and at all levels of leadership. * Work schedule must be flexible to allow extended hours or off-shift work to accommodate changing construction schedule and sequences. Physical and Mental Requirements: * Must be able to remain in a stationary position in an office environment more than 50% of the time, with the occasional requirement to move about to the construction site. * Must be able to access work being done on multiple levels. * Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machines, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer. Occasionally use machinery and other tools to operate, activate, use, prepare, inspect, place, detect, and position materials. * Specific vision abilities include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus in an outdoor environment. Must be able to; visually inspect work, look for small defects, and small parts, and/or operate machines (including inspection); use measurement devices; and/or assemble or fabricate parts. Must be able to safely operate a vehicle with a valid driver's license. The worker is required to have the ability to perform duties such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; reading printed and digital documents. * Must be able to occasionally work in proximity to loud equipment. Must be able to wear hearing protection as necessary. Often required to communicate with customers and coworkers in an office setting and, on the phone/digital meetings. * Mental alertness, accuracy and attention to detail required. Responsibilities

The BIM Technician will provide day-to-day construction models and related content for use by project BIM Coordinators and other stakeholders, working within the BIM department reporting to the BIM Manager. Essential duties include receiving, processing, and archiving model files, compiling federated models using Navisworks Manage, and facilitating the exchange of 3D models with various external parties.
