Responsibilities

WHAT WILL I BE DOING IN MY NEW ROLE?

  • Assist the BIM Co-ordinator in development of a Geospatial Management Plan (GMP) based on the scope & requirements of the BIM Execution Plan.
  • Support the BIM Co-ordinator in the processing of laser scan data from terrestrial & SLAM based scan capture technologies.
  • Generation of construction validation reports from this data using the latest software’s & processes in a timely manner.
  • Aggregation of validation data into Power BI dashboards for daily operation meetings.
  • Working with the field capture teams to schedule validation surveys based on construction activity across the site.
  • QA/QC of the various contractor validation reports.
  • Maintenance of a construction validation model.
  • Attend daily operation meetings to report on validation results.
  • Preparing reports as needed.
  • Any other duties as required by the project scope.

REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE:

  • Have relevant qualifications (Surveying, Geomatics, BIM or Engineering) and/or 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Experience working on BIM lead construction projects.
  • Working knowledge of the principles and practices of surveying and geospatial engineering.
  • Have a knowledge of current Autodesk CAD technology such as Navisworks, Revit, ReCap & BIM 360 (desired but not essential).
  • Experience working in construction.
  • Experience with HD Laser Scanning technology and software (desired but not essential).
  • Experience processing laser scan data in Leica Cyclone / Cyclone 3DR (desired but not essential).
  • Possess a full clean German / International Drivers’ licence
  • The right to work in the Germany.
