POSITION OVERVIEW:
Reporting to the Trimble Technician, the BIM to Field Technician will play a key role in supporting project delivery and maintaining modeling standards. This position is responsible for reviewing electrical layouts prior to generating Trimble points, as well as evaluating as-built point files upon project completion. This individual will collaborate with team members to develop Revit families, whether for updated standards or project-specific requirements. Additional responsibilities include performing layout tasks and accurately inputting marked-up drawings into Revit or AutoCAD, all in alignment with REI standards. This position supports the Layouts, BIM, and CAD departments and plays a vital role in leveraging advanced technology, construction expertise, and established standards to produce precise layouts and technical drawings. The goal is to enhance efficiency, ensure accuracy, and help reduce overall project costs.
