POSITION:

ACPV is looking for an experienced architect or engineer to join our BIM Department as a BIM Unit Leader.

Reporting to:

  • Head of Design Technology
  • Head of Digital Design

The role will include a range of activities such as:

  • Coordinating a BIM Unit and mentoring the BIM Coordinators assigned to it.
  • Supporting BIM Coordinators in their daily tasks and guiding them toward greater autonomy.
  • Supervising project setups and reviewing BIM documentation.
  • Ensuring project adherence to ACPV’s BIM standards and overseeing implementation across the Unit.
  • Creating and updating Revit templates, production standards, and documentation procedures.
  • Developing workflows and procedures to control model quality and information consistency.
  • Documenting processes through Wikis and Notion and ensuring accessibility for internal use.
  • Researching emerging technologies and innovative digital production tools.
  • Representing the studio in external forums, conferences, and events
  • Supporting Legal, Commercial, HR, Technical, and Project Management areas in BIM-related workflows.
  • Coordinating the assignment of BIM Coordinators to projects and monitoring their workload and performance.
  • Promoting internal knowledge-sharing and training via skill sharing and Lesson Learned sessions.

REQUIREMENTS:

The ideal candidate will be a natural leader with strong technical skills and a passion for innovation. The role requires an individual who is highly organized, proactive, and able to manage both teams and projects, with a focus on both team development and technical excellence.

  • A minimum of 10 years of professional experience, with a strong background in BIM processes and coordination.
  • Extensive knowledge of Autodesk Revit, BIM coordination platforms, and visual programming.
  • Deep understanding of BIM procedures and national and international BIM regulations.
  • Strong skills in workflow planning, technical documentation, and training team members.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to learning and innovation.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology is a plus.
