POSITION OVERVIEW

The BIM/VDC Coordinator will be responsible for managing and coordinating Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) processes on various projects. The role involves collaboration with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure that models are accurate, up-to-date, and effectively utilized throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee the BIM and VDC processes for multiple projects.
• Develop and maintain project-specific BIM execution plans.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure proper implementation of BIM processes.
• Review and analyze BIM models for compliance with project standards and requirements.
• Provide training and support to team members on BIM software and processes.
• Utilize Revit to create and manage detailed models and drawings.
• Participate in clash detection and resolution using Navisworks.
• Ensure proper documentation and communication of model changes and updates.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Revit is a must.
• Experience with BIM and VDC processes is preferred.
• Familiarity with Navisworks and AutoCAD is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a BIM/VDC coordination role.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
