Under the supervision of the Director of Innovation Operations, the BIM Manager’s role (in Buildings Operations) is to ensure the overall success of the BIM process in all Buildings projects.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • The mission of the BIM Manager is to structure, organize and supervise the BIM processes and their implementation during the Bid and Project Phases. Your role will be to provide full support and knowledge regarding the BIM processes throughout every phase of the project from bidding to digital handover;
  • Develop the BIM Management Plan for the Bid design stage and any other processes and documents required to develop the project design;
  • Support the management and technical teams regarding BIM requirements throughout the Bid and Project phases;
  • Analysis of client requirements (for both Bid and Project phases), defined in the RFP documents;
  • Integrate the requirements in the technical Bid teams, i.e. define the process to implement during the bid phase (tasks, processes, activities) that the designer and the overall Bid team shall implement;
  • Development and integration of these requirements in the subcontracts/agreements;
  • Manage a team of VDC coordinators and Integrators;
  • Foster and support the development of team members;
  • Actively foster a learning environment, share your knowledge and be an ambassador for innovation in the field of construction both internally and externally;
  • Be accountable for the quality and timely submission of deliverables;
  • Coordinate with our partner and other stakeholders (designers, subcontractors, etc.);
  • Ensure alignment with operational teams and goals, identifying project needs that will be supported by the VDC team services;
  • Evaluate and optimize processes in collaboration with other Innovation Managers at Pomerelau;
  • Communicate the VDC approach to innovative project execution and technologies available to the project team;
  • Prepare project support evaluations with detailed cost assessment;
  • Encourage your team to think outside the box to find innovative solutions and opportunities;
  • Report to the Innovation Director;
  • Celebrate successes and be a key member of the Innovation Operations Team!
