JOB OVERVIEW

Leech Group is currently seeking a full-time Bindery / Machine Operator to join our team. Reporting to the Production Manager, you would be responsible for performing a number of different tasks in this dynamic role. If you enjoy hands-on work and working with machines, this opportunity to join a unique industry with a local, family-owned business could be perfect for you.

SKILLS

• Attention to detail, particularly with numbers and counting
• Task-oriented
• General knowledge of mechanics and machinery
• Ability to work with measurements
• Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work on your feet for long periods of time and lift/move up to 50 lbs
• Relevant experience in machine bindery would be considered an asset, but ample training will be provided
• Forklift certification would be considered an asset

The setup, operation, and basic maintenance of our bindery production equipment including:

• Cutters
• Folders
• Stitchers
• Laminators
• Coilers
• Other small mechanical equipment

Hand bindery work including counting, gathering, taping, folding, etc.
