We are seeking a motivated and professional individual to join our Member Services team on a casual basis. This position requires working every second Friday for 4.5 hours and to help cover leave for team members.
As a member of the Promotions team, you will report to the Member Services Team Leader, working across our home Club Canterbury and satellite Clubs which include the Lakemba Club and the Moxon Club located in Punchbowl.

THE ROLE

You will be responsible for hosting Bingo, Raffle and Show nights across the Clubs and providing exceptional customer service to our members and guests whilst promoting Club membership and assisting with the delivery of promotions and entertainment. Your duties will include but are not limited to:

• Assisting with the delivery of entertainment and promotions including bingo and raffles;
• Selling tickets and/or entries as required;
• Assisting with setting up and re-setting of show rooms including room layout, table setting, equipment and general cleanliness of the room during and after a performance;
• Preparing and displaying promotional prizes; and
• Distributing promotional prizes to winning patrons as required.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:

• Current NSW RSA & RCG Competency Card (essential)
• Full working rights in Australia
• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Exceptional grooming and presentation.
• Knowledge and understanding of Canterbury’s products and services.
• Flexibility to work a rotating 24 hours, 7-day week roster including, mornings, evenings, overnights, weekends and public holidays.
