Description

Spectrix Analytical Services, LLC is seeking full-time permanent Bioanalytical Scientists to support pharmacokinetic (PK) assay development using the MSD (Meso Scale Discovery) platform in a fast-paced Immunogenicity Sciences group at our client site located in Andover, MA.
The Immunogenicity Sciences group is a dynamic industry-leading team whose mission is to identify key risks associated with unwanted clinical immunogenicity and influence drug design to mitigate those risks. This is accomplished through a suite of cell-based assays geared towards assessing and predicting unwanted immunogenicity of biotherapeutics. These assays enable the group to make data-driven recommendations through molecular design, making therapies safer while maintaining efficacy to treat the intended disease.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing and executing both ligand-binding assays (e.g., ELISAs, MSD, Gyrolab) to measure drug concentrations for PK analysis, and cell-based assays to assess immune responses and support immunogenicity risk evaluation.
The Scientist will design, develop and implement ligand-binding assays to measure the protein concentration of drug and/or biomarker and detect the presence of anti-drug antibody in a fast paced and dynamic environment. They will perform data analysis, data interpretation, and draw conclusions regarding progress and results of their work, utilizing the data for appropriate decision making. They will gather input from colleagues, literature, and additional resources to assist in project advancement.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BSc with at least 2+ years relevant experience or MSc with at least 1+ year relevant experience with a focus on protein ligand-binding assay development (This is a NON-PhD position)
  • Detailed knowledge and hands-on experience executing laboratory experiments utilizing various platforms and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Ability to author technical documents such as data summary reports and analytical procedures
  • Strong organizational, time management, and collaborative skills
  • Proven presentation skills
