We’re looking for a detail-oriented and curious scientist to support our protein mass spectrometry lab. You’ll play a key role in preparing biological samples and developing analytical methods that drive impactful research. This is a hands-on, lab-based role ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to learn and grow.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS/MS degree in chemistry, biological sciences, biochemistry or related fields (NON-PhD)
  • Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 3+ years of experience OR;
  • Master’s Degree with a minimum of 1+ years of experience
  • Strong experience with LC-MS sample preparation workflows
  • Familiarity with proteomics and immunoanalytical techniques
  • Exposure to Parallel Reaction Monitoring (PRM) is a plus
  • Comfortable operating lab equipment and following complex protocols
  • Excellent data organization and communication skills
  • Independent and self-motivated
  • Strong team player with a collaborative mindset
  • Eager to learn and apply new techniques quickly
Responsibilities
  • Prepare biological samples (cells, tissues, plasma) for LC-MS analysis
  • Perform protein lysis, immunoprecipitation, digestion, filtration, and concentration
  • Design and execute experiments in collaboration with scientists
  • Develop and optimize analytical methods
  • Analyze, interpret, and document results in electronic lab notebooks
  • Present findings and contribute to team discussions
  • Maintain high standards of lab safety and data integrity
