You will be expected to have strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients as well as a wide range of research and clinical professionals. Full training will be provided.
This is a maternity cover, part-time position (80% FTE) for 6months in the first instance with the potential for extension.

We are seeking a Consenter- Biobanker to join the Translational Gastroenterology and Liver Unit (TGLU Biobank) within the Nuffield Department of Medicine, University of Oxford. This position involves consenting patients into the Oxford Gastrointestinal (GI) Cohort and collecting samples from endoscopy, surgery and clinics, within the gastroenterology department
You will be assisting with collating clinical data, human tissue and medical imaging to support research scientists across the Medical Sciences Division. The position will support our ambitions to give patients an opportunity to take part in translational research in the future.
