Overview:
Performs tasks related to the manufacturing and distribution (as needed) duties for the management of whole blood and blood components, in compliance with OneBlood standard operating procedures.
Position Schedule: This is a full-time position and candidate must be available to work a flexible schedule with an 8 hour shift scheduled between the hours of 5:00am - 5:00pm any day of the week including weekends.
Training Schedule: Candidate must be available to attend training Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm for a period of 3-4 weeks.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or equivalent. Prior laboratory, bloodbank manufacturing or logistics experience preferred.

Functions are regularly performed inside and/or outside with potential for exposure to adverse conditions, such as inclement weather, atmospheric elements and pathogenic substances. Performance of this job could expose the employee to blood-borne pathogens and freezers at below-freezing temperatures (-30F/-35C). The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
