Overview:
RTI’s Exposure and Protection (E&P) Group, has been its focus on inhalation exposure assessment and corresponding effects on human health through basic and applied research that spans the entire source-exposure-dose paradigm. We’re looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Biologist to join our laboratory team. In this role, you’ll support ongoing research and lab operations by contributing to various biological studies and experiments. Responsibilities:
As a Biologist, you’ll assist with research projects by preparing materials, performing lab tasks, and supporting data collection efforts. You’ll help ensure that lab operations run smoothly by maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, disinfecting equipment, and managing supplies. You’ll also support the team by receiving and inspecting raw materials and contributing to record-keeping and reporting of results.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology or a related scientific field.
• Strong understanding of basic biological and laboratory principles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal.
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in lab work and documentation.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and standard operating procedures in a laboratory setting.
• Eligibility to obtain security clearance if required by specific contracts.

Our pay ranges represent national averages and may vary by location as a geographic differential may be applied to some locations within the United States. RTI considers multiple factors when making an offer including, for example: established salary range, internal budget, business needs, and education and years of work experience possessed by the applicant.
