Responsibilities

Deliver tailored tutoring sessions in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Elementary Science to students of various ages and skill levels
Develop customized lesson plans that align with students’ curriculum and learning goals
Use effective teaching methods to clarify complex scientific concepts.
Monitor student progress regularly and adjust instruction to ensure understanding and confidence
Foster a positive learning environment that encourages questions, curiosity, and active participation
Maintain clear communication with parents or guardians regarding student performance and areas for improvement
Utilize computer skills to prepare digital resources, track student progress, and facilitate virtual tutoring sessions when needed

Experience

Proven tutoring experience in science subjects such as Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Elementary Science
Prior experience working with children or in an educational setting is highly preferred
Classroom experience or teaching background enhances your ability to manage diverse learning needs
Familiarity with special education strategies helps support students requiring additional assistance
Excellent communication skills combined with patience and enthusiasm for teaching science topics
Must be able to reliably commute to the tutoring center.
