Description

Company aims:
Wendover Online School (formerly Oxford Education Online) was set up in 2016 by Sarah Bacon, to offer a bespoke individualised approach to online education with the aim of making a difference to every child’s learning journey.
Wendover Online School has established a reputation for providing close support and care for young people in the specific areas of education, welfare, and personal development. Our children and young people are aged between 8-20 years old. Our purpose is to teach and support our students during their studies so they can make the most of their online education with us. For this reason, we have subject specialists who are experienced practitioners, sensitive and supportive tutors who look after the pastoral aspects of a child’s education. Our teachers are highly qualified with extensive teaching experience behind them and have often worked as examiners in the UK and overseas. Our lessons are engaging, creative and welcoming, and they offer a safe and secure environment where our young people can learn and develop.
Ethos of company:
Our school is characterised by getting to know our students through our small group classes and individual tutorials, by supporting them with their studies and making sure they are happy and flourishing at school by having contact with their parents, teachers and tutors.
Why become an online teacher with Wendover?
Becoming a teacher with us is both satisfying and rewarding.
