POSITION SUMMARY

One temporary hourly-intermittent Work Study Student position in the Biological Sciences Department.

QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to follow instructions carefully.
• It is preferred, but not required, that the incumbent demonstrates prior working or educational experience in biology.
• Demonstrates ability to be dependable, work independently with numerous interruptions, and able to follow through on assignments.
• Demonstrates good organizational skills.
• Demonstrates availability on Mondays and Fridays for at least 2 hours each day. Varying hours between 8:00am to 5:00pm M-F.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
• Must have received and accepted Financial Aid award for the current semester/year in which you are applying.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Tracking, moving, and cleaning biological equipment, glassware, supplies, etc.
• Assisting instructors with laboratory preparation.
• Making solutions and preparing for biology labs.
• Other duties as assigned.
