Key Responsibilities In this role, you will support the biology department in their activities. This can involve lab organizational tasks, cell culture maintenance, development and optimization of new or existing methods, conducting technical and biological experiments, data analysis, and results reporting. You will also ensure documentation of experimental protocols and results in accordance with internal SOPs and quality standards. Completed biology lab technician apprenticeship or BSc degree in cell biology or life sciences, or equivalent. Strong expertise in sterile techniques and hands-on experience with cell culture. Working knowledge of key molecular and analytical methods, including immunoassays, qPCR, microscopy and imaging techniques. Attention to details with meticulous lab and documentation practices. Technical understanding and problem-solving skills for complex biological challenges. Experience with advanced cell models such as organs-on-chip is a plus. Familiarity with GLP, compliance standards, and quality management systems is an asset. Experience with standard MS Office software. Strong English skills for communicating with the international team. Basic German knowledge is advantageous. Strong ability to work independently, rigorously, and responsibly. Highly motivated, flexible, and proactive, with a willingness to occasionally work on weekends Outstanding team spirit.
