Justteachers is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Biology Teacher to join a vibrant and well-established secondary school in the Northampton area. This is a full-time, long-term position starting in September, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and high-quality biology lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
  • Take full classroom responsibilities, including lesson planning, marking, and behaviour management.
  • Prepare students for GCSE examinations, conducting regular assessments and mock exams to monitor progress.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to support students with SEN (Special Educational Needs), ensuring an inclusive learning environment.

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 level.
  • Strong knowledge of the UK Science curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  • Two recent, education-based references.
