Piper Health & Sciences is currently looking for a Biomanufacturing Associate in Durham, NC. This role will be joining a groundbreaking biotech company dedicated to providing products to treat life-threatening conditions.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE BIOMANUFACTURING ASSOCIATE INCLUDE:

• 0-2 years of professional and/or internship experience in a regulated laboratory environment.
• Cell culture experience in a GxP/GLP/GMP laboratory environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Bachelor’s degree in Bioengineering, Biology, Biomedical Science, Biochemistry, or similar field is required.

• Prepare and maintain documentation in addition to assisting with daily biomanufacturing activities.
• Properly inspect, process, and perform surgical preparations of primary cell/tissue samples.
• Troubleshoot lab instrument issues and ensure the maintenance and calibration of instruments.
• Prepare and assemble required materials per production schedule.
• Perform cleaning and sanitization of cleanroom areas in compliance with GxP guidelines.
• Participate in routine cGMP training to ensure compliance.
• Receive, inspect, and handle raw materials per process orders.
