Overview Troubleshoots, repairs and calibrates bio-medical and other electronic equipment under general direction. Communicates with a variety of clinical and equipment manufacturing personnel in order to determine and resolve equipment problems. Performs periodic functional and electrical safety checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning. Qualifications Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Associate's degree preferred. License/Certification: None Experience: Approximately three to six months experience necessary in order to be able to test and repair hospital bio-medical electronic equipment. Additional Skills/Abilities: Analytical skills necessary in order to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair problems associated with equipment malfunctions.
