ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for an experienced Biomedical Technician to play a vital role in supporting clinical teams through the maintenance and management of life-saving medical equipment. If you are successful in this role you will be eligible for up to $10,000 sign on incentive, and up to $5,000 each year (incentive value dependent on full-time equivalent, position and location - find out more here).

In this critical role, you will:

  • Conduct electrical safety and performance testing of biomedical equipment in line with AS/NZS 3551:2012.
  • Perform planned and corrective maintenance, calibration, and commissioning of medical devices, as well as decommissioning and disposal.
  • Provide technical support to clinical users and liaise with departments to coordinate maintenance schedules.
  • Maintain accurate records using the Asset and Facility Management Online (AFMO) system.
  • Participate in contractor management, documentation, and on-call service rosters as required.
