We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Biomedical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in the maintenance, repair, and validation of medical and laboratory equipment.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Setting up preventive maintenance plans and periodical validation protocols
• Responsible for preventive maintenance and repairs of medical devices, equipment’s, machinery and laboratory appliances and instruments.
• Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and systems
• Evaluate product performance and recommend improvements and modifications in liaising with manufacturers and local vendors
• Conduct experiments and tests to validate performance and safety documents and communicate design specifications and technical reports
• Set clear and detailed scope or works to obtain RFQ’s and RFPs for medical assets purchase, AMCs and repairs
• Set and design cost-efficient maintenance plans and effective budgeting planning

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor s degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field
• Highly skilled and motivated Biomedical Engineer
• Strong knowledge of medical device regulations and standards proficiency such as FANR
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication skills both verbal and written Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Minimum Experience of 10 years at reputable institutions,
• Preferable if experienced with large animals testing and diagnostic devices and machinery
• Professional and CPD certifications are competitive advantage for the candidate
