QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate’s Degree in a related field or military equivalent (required)
• Certification: CBET, CRES, CLES, or CHTM (required)
• Minimum 3+ years of biomedical equipment experience (10+ years preferred for this role)
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced hospital environment

ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Biomedical Repair Technician II, you will play a critical role in ensuring that hospital medical equipment is safe, reliable, and functioning at its best. You will serve as a key member of the Clinical Engineering team, supporting the Account Manager and working alongside Biomed and Field Service Technicians, managers, and clinical leaders.
This role directly impacts patient safety and satisfaction by keeping life-saving technology operating flawlessly, allowing clinical teams to deliver world-class care.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform routine repairs, preventive maintenance, and safety testing of medical equipment.
• Support daily shop operations in partnership with the Account Manager.
• Interact with physicians, clinical staff, and hospital leadership regarding equipment service and usage.
• Provide coverage and leadership in the absence of the Account Manager.
• Collaborate with hospital teams to ensure reliable and safe patient care through optimal equipment performance.
