Description

Communicates routine clinical technical service related information to colleagues, managers, consultants, nurses, other health care colleagues and patient carers. Participates in departmental meetings and contributes to effective communication within the department. Input patient/sample data in laboratory computer systems on daily basis, to include other colleagues work. Creates, amends, processes, generates, updates, clarifies and stores information on patient databases for users to access, both within and outside the Trust.
Assist experienced staff in the evaluation and development of new and existing techniques to improve the service and patient care. Educate and train Trainee BMS and support workers as required within their specialised area. Actively promote safe working practices in all areas of the laboratory
