Responsibilities

We are currently looking for a skilled and customer-focused Biomedical Service Engineer to join our team in the UAE.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, calibration, repair, and maintenance of a wide range of biomedical equipment, with a strong preference for candidates with experience in dental equipment servicing.
This is a field-based role requiring regular travel to hospitals, clinics, and dental centres across the UAE.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Biomedical Maintenance Technician, you are expected to perform a wide range of duties essential to the proper operation, support, and growth of the company. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Preventive and Corrective Maintenance Performing scheduled maintenance and troubleshooting for all dental and aesthetic equipment sold or supported by the company. Diagnosing technical issues on-site or remotely and ensuring timely resolution. Documenting all service visits and generating reports for clients and internal records.
2. Technical Support Responding to maintenance requests from clients as per service level agreements (SLA). Providing on-site and remote support to ensure minimal downtime of customer equipment. Ensuring proper communication with clients and delivering professional, respectful service.
3. Project Support Participating in clinic setup projects: assisting in equipment installation, configuration, and testing. Supporting the projects team during clinic commissioning and handover phases. Coordinating with engineers and project managers to fulfill technical requirements.
4. Cross-Departmental Support: Assisting other departments when required,
5. Administrative & Reporting Tasks: Maintaining accurate service logs and checklists. Reporting equipment defects, spare parts requirements, and recurring problems to the direct manager Eng Maek Abu Shamaa. Following all safety and compliance protocols set by Skyline Medical and UAE authorities
6. General Requirements Flexibility to work after hours or on weekends if required (based on emergency or project needs).
Readiness to travel within the UAE and, if needed, to Oman or other GCC countries for service assignments.
Commitment to maintaining high levels of professionalism, confidentiality, and technical integrity.
Additional Notes :This position is a full-time role and subject to a three-month probation period.
