JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: BIOMEDICAL SERVICE & SALES TECHNICIAN
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cardiac Technician to join our growing team. This dual-function position combines hands-on technical expertise with a commercial mindset to support both our service and sales functions. The successful
candidate will play a key role in servicing and promoting Electro Medical, Diagnostic, Monitoring and Defibrillator equipment, while also identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across hospitals, HSE facilities and private healthcare providers.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Technology, Electronics or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a biomedical technician.
  • Sales or commercial experience within the Cardiac/medical technology sectoris a strong advantage
  • Good technical documentation and reporting skills
  • Willingness to travel for on-site service and customer meetings.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities
  • Become technically proficient in the support of our Electro Medical, Diagnostic, Monitoring and Defibrillator equipment (full training provided).
  • Identify potential sales opportunities while assisting in service calls and building client relationships.
  • Collaborate closely with the Service team to promote and demonstrate our medical devices and service plans to healthcare professionals.
  • Provide on-site technical support to hospitals, clinics and private practices, ensuring that all devices are functioning correctly and that medical personnel are confident in their operation.
  • Develop and maintain proficiency in the proprietary software used by our medical devices, and train others in its operation and troubleshooting.
  • Work with the Sales team to create tailored solutions for hospitals, clinics, and private practices.
  • Partner with the Marketing team on promotional campaigns and new product launches.
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals, quotations, and product presentations.
  • Maintain a good understanding of the local healthcare market and uncover new business opportunities (cross/up-selling) within hospitals and medical institutions.
  • Create long-term partnerships with key decision-makers in the biomedical and cardiac departments within the hospital and professional healthcare environment.
