Job Description: The successful candidate will be responsible for performing all technical activities required to ensure safe and efficient operation of the hospital's dialysis equipment. A sound knowledge of special water systems for hemodialysis is essential. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance of Reverse Osmosis and De-ionization of special water systems, including bacterial and pyrogen testing in accordance with the CSA standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for machine set up and take down for acute treatments. Candidates are required to rotate between the CVH site, Renal Care Centre, South Mississauga Dialysis Centre and Mississauga Hospital. Evening and weekend work is required. Candidates are also required to meet on call requirements both weekdays and weekends. Qualifications: A diploma from a recognized community college specializing in Engineering and/or Dialysis technology. Applicants with experience in repair and routine maintenance of hemodialysis machines, particularly the Fresenius 5008 is an asset Demonstrated leadership and effective communication skills are essential for success in this position. Responsibilities
