Job Description In this Application Engineer (AE) role, you will be responsible for driving Agilent Technologies Biopharm sales with HPLC and LCMS application expertise. You will lead sales with Agilent Account Managers (AM) and Product Specialists (PS), demonstrate, carry quota and be compensated for Biopharm sales. Position Primary Responsibilities Demonstrate the latest, state-of-the-art Agilent HPLC and LCMS technology in the Agilent Center of Excellence in Daejeon. Increase CoE capacity to penetrate potential market of Biopharm, Automation and local area as well. Understand customers’ problems, recommend solutions to meet their needs, and ensure customer satisfaction. Communicate the results to our sales team and our customers by generating application Work with customers, the sales team and product specialists to meet/exceed LCMS sales quota, through the provision of technical expertise. Potential to travel to present results and educate both customers and the local Agilent teams. Sets sales strategy with AM/PS team. Qualifications Bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry and related fields. Over 7 years relevant experience in separation science, liquid chromatography and Mass-spectrometry and analytical chemistry. Rich knowledge on HPLC and LCMS technologies, products trends and strong competitions against others in terms of application. Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as writing scientific and project documentation skills in both Korean and English. You are willing to travel nationally/internationally more than 50% of the time to present our solutions. You have proven ability to work successfully in a team and take leadership in project management. Additional Details This job has a full time weekly schedule.
